Polit-Karrierist Peter Strauss fällt in den Abgrund. Drama

John Waylan (Peter Strauss) träumt von einer Karriere als Senator im Bundesstaat Minnesota. Während der Wahlkampf tobt, kommt ein unrühmliches Kapitel aus Waylans Vietnam-Vergangenheit ans Licht.
